Old Wang paced back and forth in front of the express station, constantly rubbing his hands together, sweat beading on his forehead. This was the third time this week he had come here, all for two boxes of yogurt.

Two weeks ago, his wife, Xiao Li, a housewife who was keen on making friends online, suddenly told him that she needed to send two boxes of yogurt to a "friend from afar." "He's been very caring to me," Xiao Li explained, "He even taught me how to post food videos on short-video platforms last time."

Old Wang found it a bit strange, but he couldn't refuse his wife. Xiao Li chose the most expensive express delivery service and even added a special preservation option. Unexpectedly, after the yogurt was sent, it got "lost" on the way, sometimes showing up in the provincial capital, and other times in the neighboring city, but never reaching its destination.

The deliveryman, Xiao Liu, also found this matter strange. He explained, "Your yogurt, it seems like it has legs, it's wandering around different places every day. I've been in this business for five years, and I've never seen a package that can run around like this."

Old Wang began to suspect that his wife had fallen victim to an internet scam. But Xiao Li firmly believed that the "friend" was real, and that the express delivery company had made a mistake. Every time Old Wang came to the express station, he had to explain the story of the yogurt to Xiao Liu. Xiao Liu would always reply with a helpless look, "Brother Wang, I really don't know where your yogurt is!"

This Monday, the delivery information was finally updated, showing that the yogurt had arrived at a delivery point near its destination. Old Wang excitedly ran there, only to be told that the yogurt was refused. The reason: the recipient was not home. Old Wang was so angry he almost jumped. He asked Xiao Liu, "What do I do now?"

Xiao Liu scratched his head and pointed to a large pile of returned items in the corner, saying, "It can only be returned, or you can pick it up yourself."

Old Wang sighed and decided to go pick up the yogurt himself. He looked at the two boxes of yogurt that had been tossed around, and felt a mixture of emotions in his heart. He opened one box, took out a bottle, and noticed the bottle was already bulging. He unscrewed the cap, and a strong sour smell hit his nostrils.

"Looks like it's really spoiled." Old Wang muttered to himself, took a picture and sent it to Xiao Li, ready to have a serious talk with her when he got home.

Just as he was about to turn around and leave, a group of police officers suddenly rushed into the express station. They shouted at Old Wang, "Don't move! You're under arrest!"

Old Wang was completely stunned, still holding the bulging bottle of yogurt. He was quickly put into a police car, and he tried his best to explain along the way, but found that his voice was as weak as a mosquito's hum.

At the police station, after some interrogation, he finally understood what had happened. It turned out that the "friend" his wife had met online was a gang that specialized in using express delivery to launder money. And what they sent was not yogurt at all, but drugs disguised as yogurt.

As for the two boxes of yogurt, the reason they got "lost" on the way was that the deliveryman would constantly adjust the yogurt's location according to instructions, to avoid police surveillance. And the two boxes of "lost" yogurt were eventually successfully delivered to the contact person. And the recipient's refusal was just part of their plan.

The police told Old Wang that his wife's act of sending yogurt to her "friend" constituted a crime and she had to face legal sanctions. And he himself, because he had unknowingly participated in the money laundering process, also needed to be investigated.

Old Wang sat in the interrogation room, and a question kept echoing in his mind: "Where did my yogurt actually go?"

He thought, maybe it wasn't "lost" at all, it just changed its form and went to where it was supposed to go. And he was just an insignificant supporting character in this farce.
